APPLICATION GUIDELINES FOR ARTISTS
APPLY HERE FOR OUR 2012 SUMMER EXHIBITION!
The Summer Festival application will ask for basic information about you: your address, your website, your email, and your birthday.
The bulk of the application must be uploaded as a single PDF file with the title format: FIRST_LAST.pdf (first name _ last name .pdf).
Your PDF (titled FIRST_LAST.pdf) will include:
- If you are a performer, or any other artist without still images, please include a link where your work can be seen / heard (website / myspace / youtube…) in your multi-page pdf. YOU LINK MUST BE ACTIVE for at least one month after the submission date. Please don’t send us dead links. That stinks!
- CV- an installation, set, or performance description
- a THREE SENTENCE artist statement (in order to be truly useful to your work, a statement needs to be able to fit on your label!)
- An extended statement if you feel it is vital to understanding your specific application work or intended installation in Wassaic.
- if applicable, a link where your work can be seen / heard (ie. website, myspace, youtube, etc.)- one to ten images of your work with full label information (title, medium, year). If your work does not involve still images, please skip this step.- Please confirm that you will be able to attend the Summer Festival.
NOTE: Your file must be under 6 MBs. You must resize your images before embedding them in order to keep the file size to a minimum.
