Marketing/Development Intern — summer 2018
Work part-time alongside our External Marketing Affairs officer, helping to extend awareness of our organization and events on a local, regional, and national level.
You might help out with:
Creating email campaigns to send to subscribers.
Updating the Wassaic Project website.
Creating partnerships with local businesses and organizations to share/trade information about upcoming events.
Helping out with WP events (to be coordinated with the marketing officer).
Maintaining a strong digital marketing presence on event calendars, Facebook groups, etc.
Updating spreadsheets, gathering documents, and preparing information for grant writing and grant proposals.
Coming up with creative ideas to help market events.
Drafting press releases.
Assisting in writing grants/web content.
Other ad hoc duties.
Graphic design experience a plus.
Living in the Dutchess County area is a plus.
We prefer, but don't require interns to be licensed drivers, have access to a car, and bring a personal computer with them to the office.
Housing and a shared studio space is provided.
Modest living stipend.
Modest travel stipend.
Access to our wood shop and screenprinting studio.
Meet and work closely with over 40 artist residents and over 100 Summer Exhibition and Festival artists.
