For the first time, our annual Haunted Mill is moving to the Luther Barn!
This year features a mood swing by Judy K Suh, a monster candy feast by Walker Mettling, a fairy tale forest by Rachael McArthur, a walking-themed shadow puppet show by Theodora Skipitares, a puppet installation and performance by Jane Catherine Shaw and students from the Wassaic Project Junior Varsity Art Club, a robot escape video installation by Chris Golub and Anna Yiaxi Savvidou, a giant moth installation made of Rorschach tests by Erin Perrazzelli, a dancing clown installation and performance around a fire by Brian Whiteley, a haunted petting zoo made of recycled materials by Isabella Schubert-Jones, a giant inflatable puppet created by Nicole Banowetz and Devin Reilly, an alien robot workshop by Jeffrey Repko, and a “coin-operated” haunted music box interactive installation and performance by WHOOP DEE DOO, Sofia Dixon, and students from the Wassaic Project Varsity Art Club.
Saturday Haunted Barn tickets are $10 for individuals and $20 for families. (Two parents, one kid? $20. Two parents, four kids? Still $20.) On Friday and Sunday, tickets are discounted to $8 for individuals and $15 for families. If your family has a student in the Webutuck Central School District, keep an eye on your email for a promo code for a free ticket.
Please note that we use a soft timed entry system to help the line move smoothly. Tickets are still available at the door, but we recommend RSVPing and selecting your attendance time in advance (Saturday from 5–6 PM is historically the busiest time). You will not be denied entry if you come outside of your scheduled time.
On Saturday the 24th (only!) at 8:00 PM, we’ll head over to The Lantern’s garden for the Monster’s Ball, featuring a costume contest and live music. Please note that Monster’s Ball tickets must be purchased in advance and all attendees must wear a costume. Meaning: no day-of or at-the-door sales and uncostumed ball-goers will be turned away, even with a ticket. We’re not kidding! Tickets have sold out in advance of the event every year and are on pace to sell out earlier than ever this year. Dress to impress, dance ’til you drop.
