
Our screen print shop has just reopened after being under renovation! It is now open seven days a week year round from 6 AM to midnight. The shop is currently only available to artists-in-residence with screen print experience.
The shop is also the home base of our Print Editions Program, where we invite artists to work alongside our Master Printer to produce original screen prints.

The Wassaic Project has a Paragon high-firing kiln that uses cones. The kiln is only available to experienced ceramic artists-in-residence under the supervision of staff.
This kiln has different heat settings that are adjusted manually; our maximum heat setting for artists-in-residence is Cone 6 (2200°F or 1200 °C). We also have basic ceramic tools and boards for use.
Max firing temp: We have Cone 6 available to use (Cone 6 max).

After attending an orientation with one of our Co-Directors, Eve, residents have free access to our ceramics studio outside of Maxon Mills. It’s equipped with a Paragon high-firing kiln, a [new type of electronic kiln...?] and basic ceramic tools/boards.
