The Art Nest
We have two year-round classrooms on our campus: the Art Nest and the Maker Space.
The Art Nest is the home base of all our summer camps, kids programs, and workshops. We occasionally host drop-in hours, too, during which kids use our free art materials for free to work on projects with our education staff.
Our thanks go out to the Ahmed-Schnepf family for renovating the nest in 2019.
Our brand-new Maker Space in Luther Barn is a dedicated classroom for local students in our Junior Varsity and Varsity after-school clubs. With the support of Wassaic Project staff and facilities, students meet here weekly to pursue their creative interests—wherever they may lead.
The Maker Space is funded by Dutchess County’s Learn, Play, Create grant program. The after-school clubs are partially funded by NYS OCFS and Dutchess County’s APG grant programs, and local private foundations.
