Join creative director and choreographer Tislarm Bouie for a collective movement workshop inspired by his film series Thug, a powerful exploration of Black masculinity, resilience, and joy. Through simple, intentional gestures, participants will co-create a “community mural” of motion — an evolving tapestry of arm shapes and body language that honors shared presence and individual expression. All bodies welcome. No dance experience necessary. Come as you are!
Admission to the workshop is included with tickets to Softly Rockin.
This workshop is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
