About the Artists

Amy Stephenson is a writer and bookseller living in the Hudson Valley, and a recipient of a 2026 NYSCA grant. She's the co-editor of the anthology Loose Lips (Hachette, 2016), and the former co-host of the folklore podcast Old Wives, both with Casey Childers. She was a founding editor at Hoodline and has written for various now-dead internet spaces. She's produced and hosted hundreds of readings during her tenure as Events Director for The Booksmith in San Francisco, but this will be the first dedicated to her own work.

Casey Childers coproduced a number of reading series in San Francisco, including Shipwreck, Write Club SF, Happy Endings, and Scene Missing. He also codeveloped and co-produced a pretty rad folklore podcast with his writing partner, Amy Stephenson, called Old Wives. A list of the journals in which he was published would sound made up and defy google. He's a dilettante and workaholic with too many books written and not enough rewritten.
