What if, after the Wassaic Project art gallery closes each night, and all the lights are turned down low, and the art rests from a long day of showing itself, magical art-loving mice come out to see the works on display? They love art so much that they want to have the gallery all to themselves so that they can spend time appreciating each work for as long as they like. Can you imagine these little creatures saying to each other, “Hm, I love the use of color in the Sarah-Mecca Abdourahman!” And “Ah, do you notice the unusual light fixtures of Lauren Was?” And “It is so wonderful to see the creations of 42 artists across 7 floors in the small hamlet of Wassaic!”
