This mixed-media sculpture by Jon Roberts explores themes of perception and transformation, using negative space to create the illusion of a face emerging from rhythmic linear forms. Inspired by the angles and textures of Wassaic’s Maxon Mills, the work reflects a dialogue between the industrial and the organic, between abstraction and recognition.
