
Dane Cohen is an artist and arts administrator from Queens, NY. With a Bachelor in Fine Arts from The Cooper Union, Dane has a background in printmaking and papermaking and was awarded The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, Robert Blackburn Printmaking Award upon graduating in 2022. During their time as an undergraduate student, Dane had the privilege of working with a vibrant and diverse population of New York City high school students at the Saturday Program where they instructed Drawing and Visual Arts Portfolio Development classes. Dane has assisted papermaking workshops at Dieu Donné, Penland School of Craft, and has led printmaking workshops at JC Print Room. Outside of their teaching experience, Dane worked alongside artists of varying mediums as a fine arts production assistant for over five years before joining the programming team at the Wassaic Project.
